At Wandsworth Stand Up To Racism we are fighting against all forms of racism and campaigning for positive change within the community.
We believe in taking action with urgency in order to raise public awareness about some of the most pressing issues facing today’s society. We support Black Lives Matter, we say no to Islamophobia, we aim to stamp out antisemitism and we welcome and support refugees.
ABOUT US
Campaigning against Racism in Wandsworth
Wandsworth Stand Up To Racism was set up in 2018 after 15,000 supporters of the fascist Tommy Robinson marched in London. We resolved to oppose future fascist marches and all forms of racism experienced by local BAME communities. We are part of the national Stand Up To Racism coalition, and are a Non-Profit organisation that is currently run by a diverse group of local volunteers. We have weekly zoom meetings to organise initiatives, protests, events and work with with other local anti-racist groups to fight injustice.
Our organisation is structured into six key groups and we welcome anyone to get involved in one or more area!
1. EDUCATION
Fighting Racism in Local Schools
Our group's mission is to explore interventions around the issue of racism in education by identifying local campaigns confronting systemic racism and white supremacy in local schools and by providing a forum for focused discussion on issues pertaining to racism and its impact on education more broadly.

VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME
We welcome you to join our weekly zoom meetings to hear more about our latest campaigns. We have six key groups which you can get involved in! Please contact us for details. Volunteering can be as easy as helping steward or leaflet at our events, to organising protests and actively spearheading local initiatives.
ATTEND OUR EVENTS
We welcome anyone and everyone to join the events we put on and support! Events are both educational and action based, equipping you with all the information you need to help us stand up to racism.
